Ingredients:
- French bread (sliced ½”- ¾“)
- Garlic Sauce
- Kosher salt
- Fresh mozzarella
- Garlic oil (from bottle) 1Tbl
- Shallots (mince) – optional 1Tbl
- Tomato (medium dice) 1c
- Basil (fine julienne)1½ – 2 Tbl
- Black pepper (freshly ground) pinch
- Kosher salt ¼tsp or to taste
- Balsamic syrupto taste
Procedure:
- Place garlic oil, garlic sauce, and shallots in a small teflon pan and cook over medium heat for 1 minute
- Place garlic and shallot mixture in a small bowl
- Add tomato, basil, and seasoning and mix well; set aside
- Evenly brush bread with Garlic Sauce
- Season lightly with salt and bake in 350°F oven until lightly toasted and remove from oven
- Place sliced mozzarella on crostini and continue baking for 2 minutes
- Remove from heat
- Even distribute tomato mixture on crostini and serve
